Derma-Mode was founded by Susan Maruyama, who has been in the permanent makeup and beauty industry since 1989.

Ms. Maruyama specializes in a variety of permanent cosmetic procedures, such as lip liner/color, eyebrows, eyeliner, and much more. To see a full list of our services and procedures, click here.

Ms. Maruyama is a breast cancer survivor and has a heart to help those who are current or former cancer patients, including Areola Reconstruction. Ms. Maruyama has found that Eyebrow Design is ideal for those who are pre/post chemotherapy patients.

Education
Ms. Maruyama has received a wide variety of licensing and certifications:

• Bachelors of Science from University of Colorado in Denver
• Estheticians License from The College of Body Arts and Sciences
• Permanent makeup education from The College of Body Arts and Sciences
• Advance training from The American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics, in Arlington, Texas

Ms. Maruyama continues to take advanced courses and seminars, keeping up to date with intradermal concepts.
